Sharing some birthday love for my beautiful daughter who is turning 6 today! And I wanted to share this hand built, 4ft x 5ft tall Barbie house that I made for her 5th birthday. Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good project! So last year when my daughter asked for nothing more than a "big Barbie house" for her birthday...I delivered! Countless hours I put into this project...building and painting furniture, sewing curtains and bedding, designing and painting the rooms, and making all the mini knickknacks (the mini colored pencils and tissue box are too cute!). My absolute favorite part is the little doggie bed that I made from a handkerchief worn by our sweet fur baby that crossed the rainbow bridge the month before I started the project. It is going to be hard to top this birthday gift!
I found a great blueprint online for the build and had one of my awesome neighbors construct the frame for me
